VOTE 2017: Criminal justice campaigner Sara Hyde is Labour’s candidate for Bromley and Chislehurst

THE Labour Party has completed the selection process for parliamentary candidates in London and released the names of those standing for constituencies in Bromley borough.

Standing in Orpington constituency, which includes Biggin Hill, is Nigel de Gruchy while in Beckenham, which includes West Wickham and Hayes, Marina Ahmad is the party’s candidate.

The candidate for Bromley and Chislehurst is Sara Hyde, a criminal justice campaigner who currently lives in King’s Cross. She said: “This election is about ending punishing Tory cuts, solving the housing crisis, protecting our NHS and making sure no-one is left behind by bringing jobs and prosperity to the people of Bromley and Chislehurst.

“Pavement politics is my passion, and I hope to meet and listen to as many people as possible as I campaign across the constituency in the run up to June 8.”

A Labour spokesman said: “The party has selected a diverse range of candidates including 38 women and 35 men.”

Sara is an amazing candidate and cares deeply about the issues effecting ordinary people. Vote for Sara The Tories in Bromley have took your votes for granted for too long!!!
